VKP Volavecké stráně II
Since 2021, our association has been taking care of the steep hillside in the VKP Volavecké stráně. During 2022, we received approval to take care of a nearby meadow also in the VKP and started mosaic mowing.
The meadow has begun to become overgrown with broadleaved trees and expansive brambles. Other negative successional changes were also occurring, including the accumulation of old-growth vegetation, the depletion of species composition, etc. Conservation important and competitively weak plant species began to gradually recede.
Of the species of conservation importance, the following grow here: Cirsium acaule, Epipactis helleborine, Gentianopsis ciliata, Melampyrum arvense
