Wetland meadow Dolní Vítkov
The site is located west of Dolní Vítkov near Chrastava and forms part of the floodplain of the Farský brook. It has the character of a wet meadow with individual trees, mainly alder, in the northern part of the floodplain there is a wet alder grove.
In spring there are rich growths of Wood Anemone (Anemone nemorosa) with Oxlip (Primula elatior).
The meadow with an area of less than half a hectare is part of our land association, we have dug two ponds here in recent years and have been mowing regularly to increase biodiversity since 2020.
